LEGS Christmas Decorations: Main Hall December 1969

Says Tony Young: Each year the L6 A Level Art group were tasked with designing the Christmas decorations for the main hall. People in the group were Paul Ratcliffe,Geoff Wheldon, Gwen Ellis, Mary Kublicki, Gayle Whitehead, Pauline Woolley and myself. Under Mr Forster’s leadership we designed some quite distinctive decorations for 1969. The central display rotated, lights flashed and mirrors reflected. Materials used were paper/plastic cups, perspex, egg boxes, cellophane and loads of polystyrene (not a fire risk at all!).
