Says John King: in 1999 Severn Trent invited employees to dedicate a newly planted tree in a small plantation with the participants having their name and personal message inscribed in a leaf on the Information Board. The trees are about thirty feet high now and readily accessible though I doubt whether any of the contributors who are still around have been back since to check on the progress of their tree.
