By this time the Derwent Valley Aquaduct has arrived - probably along the dotted line with air valve. Treated water from Bamford supplies Nottingham Leicester and Derby. The Derby supply is metered at the Meter House and goes into the break Pressure Tank and then into High Service. Was this DV water mixed with water from Little Eaton? I suspect that at this time it was cheaper to use DV water than to pump water from Little Eaton Treatment works. I'm sure the quality was better too!
