Say Russ Boyack: Sydnope spring was an adit. Wonderful water misted up the sample bottle as it was so cold. Straight into supply with no treatment. Never failed a sample in the 5 years I worked in a clean water environment. There was a 200 mm main running to waste as well as the 150 mm main into distribution. The sampler was a prize winning country wine maker and he collected his water from Sydnope Adit. I think as I was leaving a chlorine injection machine was installed
