Says Russ Boyack: There were spring supplies at Bonsall, but they were abandoned before I started work.(1961?) The pumping station at Salters Lane pumped water to Bonsall res. to supply Bonsall. A little snippet for you. In 1962/3 winter the water main in Main Street Bonsall froze up. It was replaced by a uPVC water main. One of the first to be laid in the UK. Each day two lengths of pipes were laid, at the correct depth, tested, super chlorinated, and the services transferred and the properties had water that evening !!!
