Water and Water Engineering, Volume 63, 1959, Page 452, tells us that the 90,000 gallon water tower was completed in 1948 (it is shown on a 1955 map, the tower & reservoir appears on a later map). It also tells us that the 3 million gallon reservoir was completed in 1955 at a cost of £79,000.
